Reds and purples, but mostly greens.
I’ve seen them in a car.
I’ve seen them from a house.
I’ve seen them three different times at 35K feet, the last time being on my way to Afghanistan. A different perspective.
Been watching the skies a lot lately. Reminds me just how small we are in this great big world. Each experience new, nothing’s ever the same.
The stars, the planets, the moon, and if very lucky, aurora together in the one frame of a snapshot in my mind.
My life changes everytime I witness the phenomenon.
I know you can see them too.
“ Apparently I missed you again. On the bright side, the stars are out, and it’s beautiful.”
The familiar voice of a stranger plays and replays on my mind and in my heart.
